Your role as the
Coordinator, Quality Management/Infection Controlwill
be toprovide infection control
oversight throughout the hospital.You will
identify investigate, and record data concerning health acquired
infections.Conduct performance improvement
studies to identify and implement action plans to improve the
prevention of health acquired infections and other performance
improvement needs.Implement, plan,
and measure activities to meet The Joint Commission (TJC), state, and
federal regulations as directed by the Infection Control
Committee.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing,
epidemiology, or equivalent combination of education, training, and
experience.Must meet education requirements
for Hawaii state licensing.Current Hawaii RN
license.Three years clinical work experience in
hospital or clinical epidemiology related field.BLS/HCP
card. Must work rotating weekends as business needs
dictate.
Preferred:Master's degree.Completion of hospital infection
control course.Current Association for Professionals in
Infection Control And
Epidemiology (APIC) or Centers for Disease Control
certification.Experience in hospital infection
control, prevention, and surveillance.Experience
in program development and/or project coordination.
