Location - Dallas, TX

Base salary - $110K - $130K plus bonus

Requirements

  • Must have 1-3 years warehouse management system experience required and s strong understanding of Red Prairie system and in-depth technical knowledge of operations and security required.\
  • Generally prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory or management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
  • Must have experience with multiple WMS applications (spanning functions of: configuration, development, implementation, and operational support). Ideally we see 3-5 on the resume spanning the experience noted.
  • Direct experience with RedPrairie technical development, commands, and language/functionality:
  • Specifically technical use/configuration of: MOCA Commands, DDA Design & Development, RP Integrator/RP Connect, Report Writer, Labels & Documentation

  • Have direct development experience and expertise here --- not just management of technical consultants
  • Candidate experience with WMS peripherals, hardware, controls, and infrastructure.
  • Direct experience leading and facilitating technical aspects of WMS system implementation/deployment.
  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business or IT Systems) or equivalent required.
  • Experience in MOCA (Marks Open Component Architecture), Work Force Management software preferred.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and enforcing data retention policies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading Red Prairie application implementation.
  • Lead Red Prairie deployment startup team efforts in site configuration, training, and process change and ensure effective system design, interface functionality, and processes.
  • Promote standardization, utilization, integration and optimization between sites.
  • Exercise leadership in streamlining Warehouse Management Team processes and the development and training of team members.
  • Act as the project lead for implementing Red Prairie applications and is an expert in using, understanding, and explaining the Red Prairie system and any prerequisite systems leading to the implementation of Red Prairie.
  • Provide leadership in defining business process and system requirements, translating requirements into specifications, and enterprise and site configuration
  • Perform warehouse set-up, organization and product zoning within the system
  • Lead Red Prairie deployment startup team efforts in site configuration, training, and process change. Provide on-site startup support and other guidance as needed
  • Ensure system design, interface functionality, and processes are coordinated and functioning effectively
  • Ensure high data accuracy in business transactions and database reporting
  • Exercise leadership in streamlining Warehouse Management Team processes and the development and training of team members
  • Work with other company teams to actively promote standardization, utilization, integration and optimization between sites
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the system
  • Provide second level support as a subject matter expert to resolve requests in Red Prairie
  • Work with Red Prairie experts in managing resolution of operational issues
  • Coordinate, guide, and manage any vendor support contacts and suppliers
  • Stay up-to-date on current and future warehouse execution technologies, capabilities and trends
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and rules
  • Create and maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the IT/Logistics Manager
