Unit Clerk/Nursing Assistant
Department: Emergency Department
Schedule: Part Time Flex
Shift: 2nd 10 hour
Hours: As scheduled FLEX
Job Details: - 1-2 years experience required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Medical Terminology.
Basic computer experience required. Knowledge of Windows-based software packages.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; good customer satisfaction skills.
Excellent customer satisfaction skills.
Organized, accurate, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet demands.
Ability to problem solve and work independently.
Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
Required Length And Type Of Experience
Office or Medical Assistant training preferred.
Required Licensure or Certification
BLS Required.
Completion office or medical assistant training preferred.
Required Physical And Environmental Demands
Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity and repetitive hand/wrist motions to produce materials on the computer. Normal or corrected vision; normal or corrected hearing; extensive sitting and frequent walking; occasional lifting and carrying from 5 to 20 pounds. Ability to work in a high stress environment.
Will have direct patient contact and perform Nursing Assistant duties.
