Wholesale Information Services (WISe) was recently formed to improve Wholesale Banking's data environment. Our mission is to define key data elements across Wholesale, establish standards and governance for these elements and operationalize core data into existing business processes and their supporting tools. Our technology platform will acquire data from systems of record, cleanse and conform it before distributing it to downstream analytics data marts and operational data stores. We are looking for a leader in Wholesale Data Quality Solutions (part of Wholesale Information Services) responsible for managing the metadata solution and program in our organization. This is a key role in our strategy to establish a strong data management discipline in Wholesale. We have adopted the following definition for Data management Data management unites people, process, and technology to change the way data assets are acquired, managed, maintained, transformed into information, shared across Wholesale as common knowledge, and consistently leveraged by lines of business to meet their goals. To achieve this mission of governance, this role will be responsible for: -Defining and managing the metadata program -Design of stakeholder communications programs relative to metadata across Wholesale -Mentor, train and develop less experienced staff and project/business personnel who need to understand metadata management -Manage the support team of the Metadata solution and work with WTS to ensure completeness of support -Development of a Wholesale metadata capability focused on all development processes, standards and guidelines -Provide necessary guidance and manage tasks around metadata by being the key point of contact for the stewardship organization. -Provide expertise on metadata management practices for performing audits to ensure projects are complying with data management processes and standards. -Facilitates and formulates metadata architecture solutions which are extensible across Wholesale -Provide expertise on metadata management best practices for performing audits to ensure projects are complying with data quality management processes and standards. -Create and operate an effective communication and training plan for executive, partner and stakeholders and users. -Assist in defining data strategy for Wholesale -Assist in defining roadmap for DQS (Data quality services A solution framework for enabling data quality and governance). -Act as Center of Influence and Liaison in metadata, common definitions and lineage with Wholesale Lines of business, Wholesale Operations areas, Corporate Credit, Corporate Finance, Enterprise Information Management, Wholesale Technology Services(WTS) and regulators.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
