Responsibilities

  • Develops maintenance schedules and equipment rotations schedules in accordance with operational requirements.
  • Ensures required equipment availabilities are met and any deviations are immediately reported to Project Manager.
  • Conducts post-shutdown reviews to identify technical improvement opportunities and cost efficiencies.
  • Develops systems and processes that are consistent with operational requirements and best practices.
  • Ensures required parts and supplies are on hand to complete required work.
  • Orders and receives parts and supplies.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years related maintenance experience in Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Experience in Cat, Komatsu and Hitachi Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance management systems and project planning.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills on preventative maintenance.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to reorganize due to equipment availability.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft and other costs systems.
  • Working knowledge of OEM maintenance systems.
