Job Purpose

Assist the Product Development Group in the design, development, testing and support of healthcare application software products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop web based SOA applications software from design specifications and direction from project leaders.
  • Participate in the full life cycle application production of commercial quality software programs utilizing Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) methodologies.
  • Produce clean concise reusable software programs consistent with department standards.
  • Employ design skills including Infrastructure and Feature definition, Componentization, using UML and User Interface Design.
  • Develop software that employs Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Application
    Programming Interfaces (APIs).

    • Technical Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end J2EE development
  • Expert in the following technologies: EJB3; JMS; Web Services; XML
  • Strong knowledge in OOP/OOD and design patterns
  • Experience with DB2/Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL
  • Preferred skills: SOA; ESB; Rules Engine; BPEL knowledge
