Responsible for training, work assignment and leadership of a fulfillment crew. Responsible for understanding, operating and updating all processes. Assures that all paperwork is handled properly. Oversees the putaway process to insure timely and accurate placement of stock. Monitors receipts for overs/shorts. Tracks trailer unload information. Handles bills of lading and stock transfers. Enforces all necessary quality checking. Oversees scheduling of inbound receipts. Keys or insures all receipts are keyed into the PC generated receiving system. Reviews each job ticket to determine shipping instructions, component parts and samples to be pulled. Assembles customer and internal orders and prepares for shipment or routing. Organizes date order and special requests. Investigates questionable orders and tracks down orders that are mismatched/misshipped. Monitors job tickets for packing, marking and delivery specifications. Pulls samples as required. Checks quantity of items and/or packages to assure completeness of order. Responsible for checking and recording pricing on all shipments not delivered by company vehicles. Contacts vendors regarding pickets, deliveries and costs. Negotiates delivery/pick schedules with outside shipping vendors.

Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks and goals. Applies advanced skills to the position Adapts procedures, processes and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Works under general supervision. May be designated as the lead worker.
