Project Manager, e-Discovery Services

- Responsible for day to day management of client projects and tasks
- Delivery of world class client service through exceptional communication skills, product and industry knowledge, effective expectation setting and passion for high performance
- Develop strong relationships with clients and position Merrill for repeat business
- Execution of project plans, managing projects to milestones, ensuring deliverables are met, etc
- Responsible for taking a client from the end of the sales cycle and project kickoff through final production and case close
- Execution of project tasks where appropriate and required including client communication and status reporting, managing review and production workflow, various custom reporting requirements and more
- Develop, maintain and demonstrate subject matter expertise on Merrills service offerings and operational turnaround capabilities
- Work effectively as a team member not only within their group, but across client service, operations and sales groups as well
- Act with a daily sense of urgency for all client requests - email, phone, etc and discipline on internal administrative tasks such as time tracking, project updates, etc
- Identify risks and escalate issues before they become major, client impacting issues
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in the e-discovery industry
- Understanding of most aspects of the EDRM
- Knowledge of litigation support terminology and various processing and review databases
- Possess advanced communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing e-discovery projects
- Take charge mentality that enables the individual to manage many simultaneous projects, develop creative solutions and advocate for his or her clients
- Strong understanding of contracts, pricing and service level commitments
- Strong Microsoft Office skills for the purposes of internal and external communication, tracking and reporting
- Place an extraordinary amount of value on teamwork, collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Ability to do whatever it takes to exceed the expectations of clients and internal colleagues alike
- Project management and project planning skills
- Project Management certification and advanced degrees are a plus
