Veterinary Technical Consultant: The incumbent will handle a wide variety of support activities, including collecting, investigating and reporting Adverse Drug Events and Product Quality Complaints as well as will provide technical expertise to sales representatives on products and disease programs with emphasis on animal health products and diseases. The position interacts with field staff to align on technical product messaging. Qualifications needed include a DVM or equivalent Degree with a minimum of 5 years private practice clinical experience and will have an active valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the US. The incumbent will have demonstrated understanding of competitor products, industry trends, technical developments, veterinary practices and transfer of technical knowledge to internal and external customers. The incumbent should be a team player, able to work with little to no supervision and needs to be a self-starter with a positive and helpful attitude. This is a position that involves significant use of the telephone. The incumbent must be computer literate with experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be able to travel 5% of the time.
