LOOKING FOR A (FULL TIME OR PART TIME) FARGO, ND AND SURROUNDING AREA.

Area MERCHANDISER will be responsible for the setting and merchandising of new and existing accounts. Extensive driving through area of coverage to cover daily routes is required. Car/Mileage allowance provided by the company. This is a great opportunity for an independent worker with reliable transportation to work for the fastest growing convenience store distributor. In this key merchandiser role you will work with the team and sometimes independently and have great visibility within the company which means growth potential!

  • Performs customer services for stores of assigned accounts
  • Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning.
  • Rearranges store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
  • Monitors potential account problems at the store level and reports to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required.
  • Maintains safe store aisles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Our Division (Minneapolis) is located in Plymouth, MN. Ideal candidate will be based on Fargo, ND or Grand Forks, ND and do some minimal work from home (review emails, send timecards, keep up with product updates, communication with manager, etc.) and the rest will be driving through area of coverage servicing customers - about 4 stops/stores per day (this varies).

    Education Required

  • High School graduate or equivalent. Entry Level position.

    • General Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Drivers license with clean driving record.

    • This Position Is Best Suited For An Individual Who Is

  • Self motivated, self-starter & detail oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understand how to read a plan-a-gram.
  • Merchandising and retail experience preferred
  • Some sales experience, product mix and customer relations experience preferred

    • Physical Requirement

    Frequent Activity- Will lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. This is done throughout the day. May also lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 50 lbs.

    Sitting/Driving for prolonged periods of time.

    Squating/bending frequently.
