QuadMed is recruiting a Family Practitioner on behalf of QuadMed Medical Group to provide services at a new satellite clinic located onsite at Amy's Kitchen in Medford, Oregon**. The schedule at this outpatient clinic will be Monday to Friday daytime hours and may include some non-traditional hours to accommodate patient accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating of clinical patients in order to meet their medical needs Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care and determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients and orders studies, tests and ancillary services as required Documents all services in electronic patient medical record Regularly reviews chronic medical conditions that require ongoing medical attention Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families Consults with Medical Director as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by the clinic requirements Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patients Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
PhysicianQualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
- Board certification or eligibility required
- Active state license and DEA
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
