Job Description

Responsible for achieving the sales revenue and Medical Device & Equipment product mix requirements for the territory.

Accelerate revenue and market penetration for all products in the territory while driving the development of relationships with key physician and surgeon customers.

Conduct key marketing activities such as peer-to-peer healthcare and physician events and hospital programs. Additionally, it is important to sell he healthcare professionals to customer targets in order to educate and drive usage of the many medical and sports medicine products and procedures.

Execute the sales plan and thoughtfully produce monthly and quarterly updates to the plan and review process.

Acquire clinical competency skills with all medical device and equipment products to assure role of sales expert in an elite sales force.

Surgical case coverage is required, with the goal of providing the highest degree of value to surgeon and patient.

Required Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent sales experience combination of education and experience.

Medical sales training / certification or accredited medical equipment education is highly preferred.

Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), charting, flow charting, and graphs. Competency in navigating the Internet.

Ability to solve and interpret problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstracts and/or concrete variables.

Valid state driver's license required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Interest in Sales. No prior business to business sales experience is needed; however, we do look for candidates who have proven track records of success in school/academics, employment, and/or extracurricular activities.

Previous sales experience is a plus

Goal-oriented, and thrive in a reward-based atmosphere.

Medical terminology knowledge and understand Operating Room procedures.

Familiar with surgical technigues.

Excellent written and verbal communications, as well as positive interpersonal skills
Strong competitive attitude demonstrating self-motivation and exceptional work ethic.

Self-discipline to work without minimal direct supervision.

Organizational and time management skills

Be ethical in dealings with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
