Job Description

We have an excellent, full time opportunity available for a MD or DO to join our friendly, team oriented staffs in the Millinocket and Patten, Maine areas. If you are not available, please share with your friends/colleagues.. we provide REFERRAL FEES!

Our FQHCs are focused on providing the absolute highest level of quality patient care and the staffs are very friendly and team oriented to work with.

There is currently an opening for a Family Practice, Internal Medicine and/or Primary Care physician to work at outpatient clinics in Patten and Millinocket. The clinics are very stable and well established and there is plenty of room for professional growth and advancement.

Relocation assistance is available and a excellent compensation (at least $170K for MDs/DOs right out of residency) and full benefits including $2500 annually for CMEs and 1 week paid for CMEs, health and dental insurance (100% paid by employer,) 3 weeks paid vacation the first year, 4 weeks each year thereafter. 11 PTO days and 10 paid holidays per year, professional liatbility insurance through FTCA at no cost to employee, eligibility for Loan Repayment through NHSC, 401(k) safe harbor retirement plan with employer match (100% for first 3% fo your contribution and 50% for the next 2% of contribution, long and short term disability coverage and life insurance at 2 times annual salary (100% paid by employer.)

The work schedule is Monday-Friday/ 8am-5pm with very limited call. There is a 1:1 physician to nurse ratio and the facilities are newly renovated with state of the art technology and electronic health records. These clinics are National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment sites.

This area has a “small town” atmosphere.. very scenic and offers a lot of outdoor recreational activities. Bangor is approximately a 60 minute drive (for “big city” entertainment, fine dining, museums, shopping, cultural activities and more!)
