Job Details

  • Role

  • The Assistant Teacher works closely with the other staff in their classroom areas to provide high quality child care. He/she assists the teachers and the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans, facilitates children's play/learning, ensures children's health and safety, and assists in the care and maintenance of materials and equipment.
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) REQUIRED. And at least 2 years of job-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

    Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver AED is required within 12 months of hire.
