Responsibilities

We currently have an opportunity in the St. Louis, MO area for an experienced "seller-doer" to lead business development initiatives, as well as manage and execute, environmental investigation, remediation and/or compliance projects. The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Management and execution of environmental investigation, remediation and/or compliance services to industrial, commercial and federal clients in the Midwest Region
  • Sales and marketing of environmental investigation/remediation services in eastern Missouri, southern Illinois, and surrounding areas
  • Work closely with Senior Management to develop a business plan to support local and company-wide growth projections
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or equivalent and minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Registered Professional Geologist or Engineer in Missouri
  • Solid working knowledge and experience with U.S. EPA Region 5 and 7 RCRA programs, including CMS/CMI projects
  • Experience with Missouri Department of Natural Resources hazardous waste and environmental permitting programs
  • Site characterization and remediation experience at chemical and industrial facilities, including groundwater extraction, treatment, and monitored natural attenuation, a plus
  • Proven track record and leadership in project management with an aptitude for business development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction and responsiveness
  • Active participation in professional associations and other organizations
