We are looking for a dedicated sales professional that is not afraid to work hard selling insurance. This is not a job: it is a career choice. As a Farmers agent, you're an independent contractor in business for yourself, but certainly not by yourself. You'll have the latitude to set your own professional goals and income potential. Former successful agency owners have made between $60,000 and $100,000 in their first year. Second year agents can make between $100,000 and $150,000 per year. We are looking to fill two positions during the 3rd quarter of 2012 running from July 1st to September 30th.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial spirit, drive and ambition
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- People-oriented with the ability to manager others
- Previous insurance or sales experience preferred, but not required
- College education or 3 years sales management/sales experience preferred, but not required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Good credit history
- No bankruptcies within 3-5 years
- No criminal convictions, felonies, or misdemeanors within 10 years.
