Description

Electronics Techniciansat Lutron work in a hands-on environment as members of cross-functional engineering teams - supporting the development of new products. They work closely with some of the best engineers in the industry and can be involved in the product development process from initial concept, through the development, testing and manufacturing phases. Project work involves extensive design verification testing on analog and digital circuits, software testing, prototyping, troubleshooting, printed circuit board design and assisting in transitioning designs from engineering into manufacturing.

As part of their career development, our technicians rotate through our multiple engineering teams, gaining exposure to the broad range of technologies employed in our products. Some of these technologies include: power electronics, plasma physics, analog and digital electronics, RF communication, IR communication and embedded micro-controllers. A mentoring program, tuition reimbursement, along with continued learning through “Lutron University” enhances the professional and intellectual advancement of our technicians.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4 year Electronics Degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Hands-on experience working with electronics
• Strong interest in testing, circuit design, and troubleshooting
