Job Details
- Evaluates patient's physical condition by using the patient's medical history, medical records, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating laboratory and radiographic data for the purpose of determining a diagnosis and plan of patient care.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree from an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant program is required.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE Approximately one to two years of progressively more responsible job related experience.
CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION/LICENSURE Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required. Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the District of Columbia is required.
