The Position: Home Source Mortgage Company is seeking energetic, results-oriented individuals for the position of Loan Officer. Reporting to the El Paso Branch Manager, the Loan Officer/Senior Loan Officer will be responsible for identifying, originating, and closing loans for HSM's Western Region that support its local program priorities and goals. HSM's Western Region activities are currently concentrated in Texas and New Mexico. This position can be based anywhere in HSM's Western Region. Responsibilities: Cultivate relationships with Real Estate Agents, housing providers, builders, bank and local financial intermediaries. Promote increased visibility in the market. Build referral networks. Provide high quality external relationship management. Market the HSM's loan products to overall community partners as a strategy to create high-quality pipelines for local programs. Work with borrowers to evaluate their financial health, determine financing needs, and verify credit-readiness. Propose loan structuring that meets borrowers' needs while adhering to HSM's credit policies.
