Busy Automotive and Truck repair shop looking for professional, experienced and pride driven automotive, light duty and heavy duty diesel technicians. Salary and benefit level dependant on experience and drive to excel. Working environment is fast paced, dealer level and steady. Applicant will be working with OEM tooling and software on vehicles dependant on their application. We are currently taking applications for automotive, light duty,heavy and diesel technicians that have a clean drivers license (CDL not necessary), sufficient tools to accomplish repairs and are team players. All large shop tools are purchased by shop for company use and inventoried in tool cribs. Vehicle types are Domestic automotive, domestic and import trucks.We serve over 9200 customers, 30 warranty companies and have been in business for 35 years, we're not going anywhere and were looking for the right people to work with us for the long haul. General hours are Monday to Friday 7AM-5PM and Saturday 7AM to 12 NOON so there is plenty of overtime to offer...We offer paid inhouse and classroom training
with paid expenses.

Requirements

Technicians applying for either automotive or heavy duty diesel trucks are to have a valid drivers license, Sufficient hand tools to accomplish repairs, work clean, work promptly,work professional, be able to perform very basic technician paperwork, be a team player, maintain clean professional appearanceand more over work safely. Technicians must be able to navigate windows based computers for web based service information retrieval and OEM software use on laptops or hand held unitsto diagnose repairs. Technicians not familiar with OEM software will be trained for the appropriate software.Technicians showing ambition to want to excel must be able to travel (expenses paid) to training centers (most local-within75 miles) and be able to complete classroom training in a professional manner ( most no more than 5 days). Technicians applying are required to have 2 or more years in a service facility in the level their applying for, i.e Automotive technician or Diesel technician.

Automotive Technicians will be working with... GM Tech 2, GM MDI, Chrysler WiTECH, DRB3, Starscan, Ford IDS and various aftermarket units.

Diesel Technicians will be working with.... Cummins Insite, Cummins Incal, Caterpiller ET, Detroit Diesel DDDL, Allison Transmission DOC, Wabco Toolbox, Bendix, International Service Maxx, and various others.
