Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist. Performs all required data entry and filing associated with the process and performs functions related to drug purchasing and inventory control procedures. Technician will participate in the Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed or required. Accurately and thoroughly prepares, manufactures, packages and labels drug products. Performs the technical functions associated with institutional drug distribution systems

Required Qualifications

California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration Certificate or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate

Minimum one year full-time relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician
