DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES
Primary point of contact for associate related issues.Conduct thorough and timely investigations into associate complaints.Interpret compiled information and make recommendations for appropriate actions based on investigative results and applicable DMMI policy.Support management through policy interpretation and application.Recruit, interview, and recommend placement of candidates for hourly staff positions from both internal and external sources.Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.Participate and provide input into departmental G&Os and projects.Conduct daily work tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor and higher-level management.Participate in a variety of required meetings including weekly staff meetings by offering input, suggestions, and ideas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS(MUST Meet Minimum Qualifications To Be Considered)
Must have aBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or Industrial Labor Relations or Associate degree and 4 years related experience or 8 years related experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAble to speak clearly, fluently, and comfortably in both one-on-one and group settings.Must have general knowledge of HR laws including FMLA,ADA, EEO, AA, etc.Effective verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and self-directed, strong problem solving skills, strong computer skills and have strong organization and prioritization skills. Must be able to maintain accurate documentation, have the ability to facilitate meetings and training and investigate complaints. Must have effective conflict resolution skills and previous project management experience. Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment, have excellent time management skills and be flexible in adapting to changing priorities.
