Job Accommodation Specialist

Candidate must have ergonomic experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Vocational Rehab background preferred.

This position involves conducting on site job assessments and evaluating functional job profiles to match functional capabilities with the job and modified duty. It involves collaboration, communication, and integration with company's health and wellness initiatives and other company resources. Position may provide case management expertise for workers compensation/ STD/ or FMLA, disease management, absence management or medical benefit plan input as deemed appropriate by company.



Position requires a decisive thinker and ability to handle multiple wide spectrum tasks with minimal supervisory guidance. Position has the responsibility for achieving outcomes based on client specific metrics and for meeting/ exceeding company's corporate targets and goals.

Education

Bachelor's Degreein Healthcare, Vocational Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related fields; OT, PT, or Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) or eligible to sit for exam

Experience

2-3 years Professional Ergonomic

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 2-3 years of project start up/implementation; excellent communication and writing skills; strong computer skills; excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; expertise with corporate EAP programs and referrals
