We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Medical Coder position that will be based in our Health Information Management department. This position is based at our corporate office in Altamonte Springs, FL and will be required to travel to our AHS facilities.

This position will have the opportunity to perform on-site and remote coding for the Adventist Health System facilities, as well as perform accuracy and compliance reviews, document coding findings and make recommendations.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience coding both hospital inpatient & outpatient records.

Education Requirements

• AS degree or BS Degree preferred.
• RHIT, RHIA OR CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) required.
