Job Description

Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, mathematics or statistics or applicable
3+ Years Project Management
2+ Years as Scrum Master to one or more teamsPreferred
Project Management Institute Certification and /or SCRUM Master
At least 5 years of Project Management
At least 4 years as Scrum Master to one or more
At least 1 year People Management
At least 1 year providing coaching to teams on scrum fundamentals and best practicesEssential Functions
Schedule and facilitate sprint planning meeting(s) prior to the beginning of each sprint in accord with the scrum
After Sprint Detail Planning has been completed communicate to the backlog owner the teams committed stories for the upcoming
Support the Backlog Owner and Portfolio Manager in updating monthly the 30-60-90 day release roadmap based on the health and priority of the stories on the backlog and planning poker estimates/sizing.
Schedule and facilitate daily stand up meeting @ same time and same location each day in accord with the scrum
Represent the team daily at the scrum of scrum's (S2) meeting to report progress against burndown, if deviating from the ideal burndown line then communicate teams plan/commitment to get back to the line, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to the S3 to help
Shield the team from external interferences, facilitate removing impediments that impact the teams ability to meet their commitments, enable close cooperation across all roles and functions with the goal of removing
Coordinate with the Backlog Owner and Technical Lead in ensuring the team is prepared to do the demo or Sprint Review at the end of each
Manages external vendor deliveries within committed scope of sprint and manages external team deliveries. Monitoring /
Monitor daily issues impacting, if the team is not able to resolve the issue/impediment and needs to be escalated then report it at the Scrum of Scrum's (S2)
Monitor daily the information radiators and ensure they accurately reflect the current state, including time and
Report weekly (or as agreed with business sponsor) the status of the projects your scrum team is
Provide the Release Managers with the list of backlog items being released to production with the upcoming
Coordinate as needed with other internal Project Managers and/or external vendor Project Managers the delivery of

Project Manager services include the management of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms to achieve desired functionality. Typically, the PM will lead a matrixed team and once the project is complete, the PM will move to another project that will have a different team mixture. Proven and substantial experience leading complex IT development or IT technology projects (typically 6+ years) A thorough knowledge of the IT development life cycle Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project Strong soft skills that include: Strong written and oral communications Ability to lead a team to desired outcome Experienced interacting with both senior leaders as well as peers Ability to identify and negotiate solutions to address project challenges Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus Able to handle ambiguity in the project without losing focus Able to perform with minimal direction Exposure to Agile methodology Familiarity with Clarity or similar project portfolio management tool Significant understanding of technical environment Proven ability to lead large/complex matrixed team from many different internal groups and different locations and drive results through task coordination, handoffs and overall delivery of solution
