As a Senior Copywriter with Babcock & Jenkins, your primary role is to develop fresh creative approaches to complex marketing problems. Once the thinking is done you will write, edit and corral content for integrated projects, including direct mail to ad copy, email, online marketing, microsite experiences, Web content, blog posts, interview Q&As, podcasts, webcasts and telemarketing scripts - anything (and often everything) associated with integrated marketing. As previously stated, our current client roster consists technology, software, and some consumer services, but we're also in the business of adding new ones, all the time.
5-8+ years copywriting experience? in an agency environment
Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or University
Strong research, messaging and conceptual abilities?
A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and quality of direct and web marketing, concepting and copywriting?
Ability to think critically, maintain composure and deliver unique, thoughtful creative under pressure?
Desire and proven ability to meet strict deadlines?
Strong communication and collaboration skills combined with rational persuasive powers?
Ability to work with and present to clients?
Detail oriented and organized?
Present and defend your work-without getting defensive?
Ability to contribute to the overall creative spirit and culture of the agency? ?
Additionally, the Senior Copywriter.?
Must ensure campaign copywriting fulfills the vision of the project plan and meets the quality standards for Babcock & Jenkins; furthermore, ensures that creative development aligns with client goals, and is always results-focused
Adheres to the project schedule maintained by the account team
Approves successful integration of writing or editorial content with visual design
Collaborates with the VP of Creative and Content to build Babcock & Jenkins editorial practice ?
