TechTarget is seeking a Yield Manager who will be responsible for driving performance for our display ad campaigns through active monitoring and manipulation of campaign settings. The Yield Manager will interface not only with other members of the Yield Management Team but als with sales to ensure efficient and cost effective delivery of display ad campaigns. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, possesses strong problem solving skills, is self-driven, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

Display Ad Product Knowledge: understanding the set-up and potential delivery variations within both the order entry system as well as the ad server;

Assist Sales By

Forecasting inventory for all product/targeting options

Consulting on alternative products or targeting when capacity limitations are reached

Understanding revenue recognition impacts of contract changes

Review And Approve Display Advertising And Newsletter Specific Contracts And Subsequent Change Orders

Review and approve display advertising and newsletter specific contracts and subsequent change orders

Assuring inventory is available to complete delivery as requested - providing alternative solutions as necessary

Gather daily data from various internal and external sources and compile into consumable reporting tools

Inventory Calendar(s)

Delivery reporting

Third party reporting

System related documentation

Produce periodic ad hoc reports

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Desired

Bachelor's degree required. Degree in business administration or quantitative field is preferred;

Experience with display advertising inventory management;

Experience working with an ad server - Doubleclick experience preferable;

Experience in high volume transaction environments;

A logical thinker with a focus on process and standardization;

Extremely reliable - Independent and excellent time-management skills;

Ability to multi-task and work with data accurately and efficiently;

Ability to communicate effectively with people across the company. Focusing on both written and verbal communication;

Strong working knowledge of Excel (in addition to proficiency in standard MS Office programs);

Position requires hands-on person with excellent analytical and computer skills; and,

Flexible and willing to take on new responsibilities as business requires
