    This position is accountable for the Community Affairs charitable grants process, which includes the activation of marketing and sponsorship entitlements and accurate database entry and reporting. The person in this role manages the entry of approved grants into the grant database and has responsibility to the team of Community Affairs Relationship Managers in providing accurate and timely information in response to inquiries on grant payment status and marketing deadlines. In order to mitigate risk, this position is accountable for ensuring each grant is complete according to compliance and audit standards, which may require research, follow up and interaction with external nonprofits. The role is also accountable for ensuring all sponsorship benefits reflect the BMO brand and logo accurately, and that all marketing materials are provided by the required print deadlines and according to spec. On some occasions, this position would be requested to assist the Project Manager with department projects, such as the BMO Annual Volunteer Day.
