Aero Kraft North is a locally based manufacturing facility. We are currently hiring Mold Press Operators for our Swing Shift and our Graveyard Shift. Mold Press Operators are tasked with sculpting and assembling wax and plastic components into finished patterns using established written instructions.

Swing Shift Schedule

Monday through Friday 2:30PM - 11:00PM

Graveyard Shift Schedule

Monday through Friday 11:00PM - 6:00AM

Conveniently located close to the Portland Airport, this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make a little more money from differential pay and enjoys working int he evenigns. All shifts may occasionally require overtime or work on the weekends as needed, depending upon volume. Shift Differential is included on all Swing and Graveyard Shifts!

DUTIES

Operates the Mold Press, documents all actions on appropriate forms and follows established procedures and instructions.

Prepares the Mold Press for operation by setting machine parameters according to written set up instructions and gathering all parts, molds, tools and materials.

Prepares kits of parts for delivery by ensuring all necessary components are present.

Ensures all molded parts are free of defects using torches, soldering irons and other appropriate tools.

Measures parts using various tools to ensure parts produced are the correct size according to specifications.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.

Respectfully takes direction from Manager.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination education or experience

Must be precise and detail oriented; able to follow directions closely (both written and verbal) with minimal to no errors

Must display mechanical aptitude with very good hand-eye coordination and excellent fine motor skills

Ability to read, write and speak basic instructions in English

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Knowledge of basic hand tools (screwdriver, hex wrench, hammer, etc.)

Previous experience in a manufacturing role prefered
