Field Service Technician
Teledyne TapTone has a full time position located in Los Angeles, California for a Field Service Technician who will perform field service, repair, installation and operator training on equipment and devices used in advanced package inspection solutions. The Field Service Technician will provide customer support both in the field and in the office. Additionally it may include engineering and marketing support, as well as performing sample testing for potential customers.

Requirements
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, or experience in a related Technical Field focused on Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and understand complex technical requirements, understand technical documents
Must possess ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, electrical schematics as well diagnose and troubleshoot basic circuits.
Must possess an understanding of PLC controllers, low voltage control circuits, and software updating processes.
Proven experience and proficiency with electro-mechanical diagnostic and repair tools and test equipment.
Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office products is essential; Excel, Word and Power Point
Must be able to travel more than 50% of the time with limited advance notice
Must be able to work overtime and some weekends when required
Must possess a valid driver's license with clear driving record.Essential Qualifications & Behaviors
