Description

Candidate will assures that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements. Plans, coordinates, markets and reviews assigned areas of the logistics program, which encompass the operations and activities related to logistical support. Has responsibility and authority for integration of separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation/transportability, new equipment training and fielding of assigned systems and/or equipment into a logistics management program throughout entire life cycle of assigned system. Coordinates and exercises direction over the integration the supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, item introduction provisioning and in other related logistical functions for assigned systems during all phases of the life cycle. Maintains cognizance, coordinates and integrates all actions necessary.

Typical Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years related experience.
  • Proven performance in developing, preparing, coordinating, staffing, and implementing logistics policies, plans, procedures, programs, and directives.
  • Proven experience in planning the resources for approved programs; to plan and provide input for ILS documents; to analyze resource impacts on programs; and to forecast long-term ILS requirements.
  • Proven performance in implementing the fielding, training and sustainment of weapon systems and associated support equipment.
  • Proven experience in applying technical directives and regulations pertaining to Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements (12), logistics management principles, concepts, policies and regulations to include CLS supported weapon systems.
  • Proven experience in the planning for and implementation of the ten ILS elements of life cycle support of commercial derivative aircraft.
