The Mission Support Business Unit of SAIC is looking for a Graphics Artist

Job Description

The Graphic Artist is responsible for completing and leading the design and development of 2D and 3D graphic and multi-media renderings to support the design and development of learning solutions for a US Government customer. Function as a subject matter expert in graphics arts tools, techniques, methods and applications, and will recommend appropriate graphic and/or multimedia solutions to support learning goals, following the approved task design strategy. Use applications such as Adobe, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Captivate.

Qualifications

  • AA/AS in Graphic Design, Instructional Systems Design with a Graphic Arts emphasis, or Instructional Systems Design with a Certificate in Graphic Design, or a degree in a directly related field. In lieu of AA/AS, two years of directly related experience may be substituted, in addition to work experience identified below.
  • Three years' experience within the last five years in visual design or graphic design with an emphasis in supporting training and learning interventions or courses.
  • Two years' experience within the last three years in designing solutions using static graphics, animations, and interactive animations.
  • Proficient with applications such as Adobe, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Captivate or similar
  • Current TS/SCI with polygraph
