Description

Candidate should have a good understanding of application lifecycle development and strong understanding of object-oriented development Principles. The candidate will provide application development support and leadership with experience in Microsoft .NET framework. Responsibilities will include mentoring and guiding junior developers, program development for the web-based application utilizing MS solution including MS Visual Studio 2010, Visual basic.net, ASP.net, C#, JQuery, SQL Server and scripting, and Team Foundation Server (TFS). This effort involves detailed analysis of the current system, program revisions, maintenance, enhancements and post implementation support of the application/system/database utilizing an Agile Approach. Position may require travel< 10%. Candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

This position will be based in Mechanicsburg, PA. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with team members and senior managers.

Required Education

A Bachelor of Science with a major in a related scientific or technical discipline is desired. Information Assurance DOD 8570.01-M certification of IAM Level 1 desired.

Required Skills

The candidate must have a minimum 5+ years experience and shall be capable of working independently and possess in-depth knowledge and experience in analyzing, developing, and testing maintenance and enhancement requests in an ASP.Net environment.

Desired Skills

It is desired that the individual have an understanding of best commercial practices in information technology. Proven successful analytical ability with high visibility programs and ability to assist with solution requirements.
