Marketing Manager, Online
Specific Duties/Responsibilities
The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for execution and optimization of customer acquisition initiatives via various channels including display, cost-per-acquisition partnerships, and affiliate marketing. The Online Manager will plan, schedule, and execute acquisition programs and campaigns on time, on target, and on budget and determine the best strategies, vendors, resources and processes to streamline execution.
Media Planning
Develop and maintain a portfolio of online media partners; lead negotiations and execution of CPA, CPL, and CPM media buys across multiple online channels.
Manage affiliate/partner program and research, develop, and execute affiliate/partner prospecting strategy.
Campaign Execution And Optimization
Design campaigns to maximize response and ensure optimal Care.com experience.
Manage partner and vendor relationships, internal resources, and departmental budget to achieve performance targets and objectives. Coordinate internal and external deliverables and timelines.
Analyze performance against forecast and makes course adjustments as needed to reach goals.
Design test strategies to continuously optimize results.
Campaign Reporting And Analysis
Forecasts campaign results and maintain accurate accounting of budget and spending.
Establish reporting formats and processes to deliver compelling business insights regularly to ensure constant program evolution.
Analyze campaigns and design tests to measure incremental conversions lifts
Research
Evaluate new online media programs/outlets/partners appropriate for targeting key audiences and expansion to new markets.
Be on the forefront of online marketing trends; identify and implement tests and best practices and continue to be an early adopter of new strategies and technologies.
Conduct regular competitive research/analysis.
Skills/Experience Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience in the online marketing field, particularly display and affiliate for a consumer internet business.
High enthusiasm and interest working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Results oriented with roll-up-the-sleeves attitude - proven ability to execute.
Strong interpersonal skills, track record of motivating different stakeholders to achieve desired goals. Must possess proven negotiation skills.
Strong data analysis skills and a passion to extract insights to drive program performance; fluency with performance metrics and ROI analysis. Capable of pulling data from various resources and translating into trends, action plans, and compelling reports.
Strong project management skills with the ability to execute plans through to completion; ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.

Experience with Commission Junction and/or Share-A-Sale
Education/Other Pre-Requisites
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Economic with a strong academic record
