Responsibilities

As part of the Capgemini Technology Services Group, this person will be responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions. This person will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This person will also apply project management expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies.

  • Several years of relevant data management consulting (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality) and/or industry experience for large organizations
  • Significant experience leading complex data management engagements (onsite/offshore delivery model)
  • Strong implementation experience and deep knowledge in Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Quality
  • Deep knowledge of the strategic business drivers and operational process requirements within at least one industry such as CPG, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.
  • Must be able to link industry specific business requirements to Master Data Management and Data Governance capability requirements.
  • Working knowledge of packaged MDM suites like IBM, Informatica, Oracle, etc.
  • Ability to architect an Enterprise Data Management solution and provide business, governance and technical recommendations to client executives and managers
  • Ability to recommend MDM process, governance, organizational and platform models, tool selections and application integration options to clients
  • Proven experiences in designing and setting up Data Governance framework, including Data Governance boards, charters, roles, responsibilities, guidelines and policies
  • Ability to analyze processes and requirements to define master data models
  • Flexibility on travel is required
