Expand established business -¢ Take part in project management of innovative design solution for digital appliances. -¢ Understand SDA-Ts ID strategic values and implement. -¢ Active role in developing and articulating design concepts, ideas, and directions. -¢ Explore, develop, and refine design concepts within the context of research, design, UI, and graphics. -¢ Support Home ID team in visioning the future of SDA by sensing ID and technology trends. -¢ Ensure the end product development results meet the market demand, technical specifications and requirements. -¢ Manage project related tasks such as vendor liaison, schedule tracking, and client interaction. -¢ Guide project team to meet schedules and milestones with high performance Generate new business opportunities -¢ Collaborate with UX team to focus on advanced user-centric USPs. -¢ Provide in-depth insights with the ability to identify the rising trends and successfully apply to the designs. -¢ Explore and share advanced design concepts with SDA and HQ. -¢ Obtain knowledge of competitors market and evaluate competitor solutions. Establish strong collaborative team -¢ Strengthen cross-disciplinary design developmental capacity. -¢ Develop internal relationships with Corporate Design, R&D, Product Planning, Marketing and Sales to support SDA-initiated projects. -¢ Develop external relationships with experts and institutions to widen the team-Ts capability. -¢ Be proactive in identifying and developing effective processes to reflect changes. Necessary Skills /Attributes -¢ Passion for innovative design solution in emerging markets. -¢ 7+ years of industry experience (both consultancy and in-house design is a plus). -¢ Proven portfolio for innovative leadership and project management. -¢ Educational background in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering preferred. -¢ Solid technical proficiency (3D CAD, 2&3D design visualization, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, etc.). -¢ Constant curiosity and eagerness to learn about design, technology, socio-cultural trends, and human behaviors beyond project works. -¢ Effective project management, communication, and teamwork skills. -¢ International experience preferred. -¢ Must be able to travel internationally at least twice a year.
