Demonstrates accountability for cardiovascular/radiology department, and clerical activities by effective management of personnel and financial resources to achieve quality patient outcomes for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and the goals of the institution.

Under the general direction of the Radiology Director, the incumbent is responsible for daily operations in assigned area 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Subject to overtime, on call, and call back as required by the hospital.

Education Required

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Program

Experience Required

A minimum of 3 years work experience in health-related field after degree and/or licensure obtained. Leadership experience utilizing problem-solving methodologies.

Licensure Requirements

Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiography, CT, MRI, U/S, or Nuclear Medicine. Basic Life Support within 3 months of employment.
