New nurses not being considered for per diem positions

Required: NH RN license and BLS (AHA Health Care Provider or ARC CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers) is required at time of hire. Must have at least 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. **This position requires that you have the ability to regularly lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Shared weekend coverage is required.

Preferred: ACLS preferred. CCRN or intensive care experience is helpful. Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms preferred. Must be willing to complete the Critical Care course within 1 year of employment and achieve ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Care will be provided to patients who have been seen by the Emergency Room physicians and is in need of care or treatment which is expected to take longer than 4 hours and less than 24 hours.

Shift: As needed - 8 or 12 hour shifts. Primary shift will be 7pm to 7:30am.
