GLC Government Services is seeking a Maryland licensed RN who meets the following requirements for a contract assignment at the National Institutes of Health located in Bethesda, MD. This facility is the Government's flagship enterprise for Medical Research, partnering with the FDA, CDC, National Cancer Institute as well as many other well respected national and international research entities. You will work in a state of the art environment with access to outstanding educational resources.
The Interventional RN will work within the Radiology Department at the Clinical Center. The schedule is 8:00a-4:30p Monday through Friday. No weekends, Holidays or On-call hours required.
The Position Requires
Previous Interventional, Critical Care, Emergency Room or Cardiac Catherization Lab experience of 5 years or more
Competency in the administration and care of patients undergoing moderate sedation
Competency starting IVs or accessing central lines or ports, initiating peripheral Intravenous lines for administering Contrast Media exams and sedation purposes
Strong clinical assessment skills including arrhythmia interpretation and clinical intervention
Able to change priorities easily, seamlessly and support the smooth operation of a fast-paced procedure area
Previous Radiology experience, preferred but not required

Requirements
Current BCLS certification
Current State of Maryland RN license, or qualified to apply
5 years Critical Care experience working in ICU, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Emergency Department
