Summary
The successful candidate is responsible for
corrective, preventative and excepted maintenance of scanning & screening
equipment at CONUS and OCONUS airport sites. All assigned tasks are executed
with the complete understanding of the policies, procedures, standards and
goals of the organization. The
successful candidate is knowledgeable in all aspects of diagnostics, repair and
maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. Must possess a working knowledge
of various National standards, codes, and troubleshooting practices for a wide
range of crafts, trades and disciplines.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Serve as primary contact for interface with end-users at airport
- Review and monitor daily work and all open issues.
- Respond promptly to all service calls and requests.
- Serve as primary point of contact for upgrade, retrofit and
- Maintain accountability for specialty tools and test equipment.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other technicians
- Document service calls in CMMS system
- Provide status reports to management.
- Review and monitor daily work and all open issues.

Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully,
an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or
ability required.
The successful candidate must be
able to pass a drug screening examination, possess a valid driver's license as
well as obtain and maintain a TSA Suitability Clearance and Airport badge.
This position requires up to 90%
travel primarily in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the
Continental United States (OCONUS).

Education and/or Experience
Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational
technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 5
years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and repair of electro-
