Quality Management Specialist, RN, FT
The Quality Management Specialist provides the technical support for promoting the continuous improvement of patient care and hospital processes for hospital departments and the Medical Staff. This position supports the goals and efforts of interdisciplinary performance improvement teams. The Quality Management Specialist provides educational resources on the tools and techniques of performance improvement and acts, as necessary, as a team facilitator. This position also performs a wide variety of tasks including reviews and special studies as necessary for the Medical Staff and hospital departments to meet JCAHO standards and standards of other regulatory bodies.

RN with BSN Preferred
Minimum of three years' experience in nursing at an acute care facility with at least a minimum of two years' experience in performing quality management related activities required. This is demonstrated by a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, JCAHO standards, CMS requirements, and DOH regulations.
