New Family Medicine Residency program is seeking a AOBFP certified physician with strong OB, osteopathic manipulation skills essential and academic skills for a brand new training program. The faculty member will assist the program director in establishing a dually accredited MD/DO Residency training program based on the Patient Center Medical Home Model. The residency program is set to begin June 2012. In order to complete accreditation for the program, the faculty member needs to be hired in 2011 and begin establishment of their practice. Once teaching commences with the first residents in 2012, the physicians clinical practice with reduce to .3 FTE. Applicants must possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of Washington, be board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, demonstrate experience and competency in teaching and patient care including obstetrics. This is a full time position with hospital call required. Two years of family practice experience is preferred.
