Job Description
Siemens Healthcare is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who will serve as the technical lead resource for the day-to-day operations and project activities with our onsite technical team at our customer office site. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading successful implementations of all projects, day to day operational excellence, assist with tactical planning and lead the technical support team for our customer. This Systems Engineer position will be responsible for technical project work, interfacing with the customers, and assisting to meet project deadlines of several simultaneous projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex system infrastructure management involving design, analysis, maintenance and implementation
- Manage, set-up, administer, support, and troubleshoot server and systems infrastructure
- Manage systems activity such as planning, installation, operation, and maintenance
- Coordinate activities and act as an escalation point for issues relating to technical projects
- Maintain accountability for resolving service problems and for prioritizing work requests
- Develop outstanding customer relationships
- Understand the Siemens vision/mission and promote the use of Siemens standards
- System team lead and report to the Delivery Management team
- 24x7 day-to-day operations support including system infrastructure, server, and system application infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues via phone and in-person at both a technical and non-technical level
- Involvement in 24x7 rotation of pager, requiring response within SLA timeframes
- Technical experience in a Hospital environment
