Manage a portfolio of loans within the Business Banking Unit (BBU), monitoring credit quality, loan renewals, collection and update of financial statements from clients. In concert with the Business Banking Portfolio Manager, evaluate and pursue risk mitigation strategies for loans with a high probability of default.

Duties/Responsibilities

Actively manage the assigned BBU portfolio through ongoing credit quality review

Manage the loan renewal process, gather required financial information, coordinate discussions with BBU Underwriting team, insure accurate loan documentation

Maintain adequate controls to ensure compliance with all associated statutes/regulations

Key point of contact for client interaction for the renewal/maturity process

Prepare monthly production and exception reports

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 2 accounting courses

Strong analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum of 18-24 months credit analyst experience with demonstrated skills in analysis of cash flow, income statement, balance sheet, industry, collateral, guarantor and management assessment

Sales experience preferred
