    This Residency is geared towards the intensive education and practice of PAs in the critical care environment. Residents will receive initial didactic, clinical, surgical and anesthesia education throughout the year. Physician Assistant residents will rotate through any or all of the following Adult Intensive Care Units: Surgical (General Surgical, Neurosurgical, and Cardiac), Burn, and Medical. Residents will rotate both through the academic tertiary care hospital (JHH) and academic community-based hospital (Bayview Medical Center). When on rotations, Physician Assistant Residents will be working within a team to provide comprehensive and consistent care for patients.

    • Education

    Currently enrolled in and expected graduation from an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
    Work experience: Zero to twelve months related experience.
    Licensure/Certification: Board certified (or certification-eligible for new graduates) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
