Candidates Will Possess

3 - 5 years of experience with SQL; Ideal candidates must be proficient in SQL query and report writing using multiple data sources

Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication skills, facilitating the gathering of report requirements with requesters and report tuning

Analytical skills are essential; Candidates must have the capability to understand the business and operations and quickly translate business requirements into report designs and specifications

Ideal candidates must enjoy working in a fast paced environment, fulfilling report requests within specified timelines

Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus

Job Responsibilities

Perform report requirements gathering and task analysis through interviews, observations, and documentation

Research, analyze, and interpret statistical data

Support and manage multiple projects, at differing levels of priority, as needed

Work in conjunction with management to refine and streamline the report production process

Responsible for the timely production of both scheduled and ad-hoc reports

Present relevant information to various levels of both internal and external data consumers

Interact daily with all levels of staff and management while maintaining required confidentiality

Communicate with internal report constituents to ensure report reception and satisfaction

It Is Preferred Candidates Also Possess The Following

Ability to effectively communicate with report requestors to quickly gather requirements and information needs

Ability to quickly learn data, what it means, and how to access it

Ability to help institute and support more structured approaches and processes within the reporting function

Proactive - seeks assistance when faced with a question or challenge

Customer service oriented

Significant experience with SQL; able to create complex SQL queries and reports

Experience with Healthcare data in a Hospital / Health System setting is a plus
