Our Client is a well-known smaller division of a very major company, which allows them to offer a small company feeling along with large company benefits and perks. This Client has asked Hallmark to help them hire two Software Engineers; one Associate Software Engineer and one Senior Software Engineer. Our Client is a high-tech manufacturer of ultra-precision machining systems and motion platforms for the optics, defense, aerospace, consumer electronics, and semiconductor industries. RESPONSIBILITIES: Help to guide software direction and maintain software developmental goals. Conceptualize and create structure of software projects including hardware interaction, library maintenance/creation, program/project architecture, version control, licensing. Design, build, implement and support new and existing software applications and assist in activities involved in applications, problem solving, and software validation. Design and develop WPF based .NET solutions for engineering software applications (no website or IT development) Document technical designs, using flow charts, class diagrams, data flow diagrams, descriptive software component documentation etc. as required Perform unit testing and resolve any issues / bugs by debugging and troubleshooting the code. Perform customer and in-house technical support Help to achieve the completion of all projects within budget and on schedule. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Software Engineer with a Bachelor-Ts (B.S.) degree in computer science and/or a related field 5+ years of experience for the Senior Software Engineer 2+ years of commercial experience for the Associate Software Engineer Strong programming skills in C++ and/or C# on Microsoft Windows platforms Software development experience Strong understanding of the .NET Framework (C#), WPF, OOP principles, WinForms with proficiency with .NET 2.0 and 4.0, Visual Studio, SQL Server OTHER: To view other Hallmark jobs, please go to www.HallmarkJobs.com Hallmark and our Client are Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employers.
