Overview
The Global Investments Product & Platform group is focused on delivering high impact strategic initiatives for the Private Bank (PB) and Private Wealth Management (PWM). The group acts as an internal consultant, partnering with Global Investments senior management to deliver on the business objectives for the year. Initiatives are led by Business Consultants and Business Analysts with the expectation that the group is involved from project definition through to full project delivery and implementation.

A role on the Product & Platform team is one that emphasizes strengths in Investments, Credit, Banking, & Fiduciary knowledge, project management, dissecting problems, and effective communication. Time is spent on both tactical projects to support key business decisions and strategic projects to further promote the business agenda.

Responsibilities

The Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for executing key deliverables within the strategic business agenda across PB and PWM. They will ultimately be responsible for providing periodic analytics across the Investments, Credit, Banking and Fiduciary platform that will drive business decisions and execution, solve business needs, and mitigate risk. The role focuses on finding immediate solutions to business problems that can act as a proof of concept for strategic solutions. They will be responsible for standardized and ad-hoc reporting for the Investments, Credit, Banking and Fiduciary businesses. They will work across the organization including, Senior Management, Product Groups, Investor Relations, Finance, and Business Risk Management. Key responsibilities include:

q Understanding and defining business needs in the context of short and long term objectives
q Synthesizing raw data into actionable insights to drive business results and analyze trends
q Analyzing data, processes, organization and supporting applications
q Identifying weaknesses, gaps and opportunities for improvement - and reporting the findings in a simple, compelling way
q Working across the business to implement new processes, MIS, applications and organizational changes
q Measuring results - business, client and employee impact
q Partner with Plan and Build teams to effectively communicate business requirements and lead project delivery and implementation
