    We are currently seeking a Communications Senior Manager and the primary responsibilities include development of digital content strategy for Chase.com, Chase mobile, landing pages and social media. The content manager will collaborate with internal team to enhance website functionality and develop innovative ways to effectively meet customers' needs through content, driving conversion and advocacy metrics. This individual will manage content writers tasked with developing content for on-site search and related functionality.

    The candidate must possess knowledge of content development and search engine optimization best practices to produce highly engaging and effective web content, and stay abreast of the latest trends in digital content. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of content management systems, work flow management and related best practices Collaborates with internal team to enhance website functionality and develop innovative ways to effectively meet customer needs. The candidate will need a solid understanding of web content and digital asset publishing and management.

  • Responsibilities

  • Conduct content audits of relevant digital properties, and prioritize content development needs
  • Develop digital content style guides for Card Services in line with overall style guides for the Chase brand
  • Work within content guidelines to procure & develop content, working with internal partners and third parties as needed
  • Act as editor for Chase.com and Chase mobile
  • Assist internal clients with content audits and identifying gaps and opportunities
  • Work with internal teams to manage / deliver content development projects for marketing campaigns and programs
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client teams in Card Services and corporate (JPMC) digital marketing group to deliver high quality & timely assistance to the business
  • Play a hands-on role in content development, in addition to advising internal clients
  • Working in tandem with other departments within JP Morgan Chase in providing SEO, content and analytics support as part of larger Web redesign or development projects.
  • Gain a solid understanding of our Content Management System and act as subject-matter expert on content and page templates for chase.com
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of audience segmentation and tone of voice in driving content strategy
  • Mentor content writers and leverage experience with online writing techniques to implement best practices
  • Work under tight deadlines and be self-directed in prioritizing a diverse workload in a fast paced and demanding environment

  • Requirements

  • 10 years in digital roles, with a focus on content strategy & development, copy-writing and Search Engine Optimization (including keyword development)
  • Experience with multiple content formats and styles; financial services experience a plus
  • Experience in web analytics; understanding user behavior, key traffic drivers and monitoring success metrics
  • Hands-on experience working with well-known content management systems (Interwoven, Documentum, Adobe CQ5)
  • Experience in copy-writing or journalism desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and be self-directed
  • Agency and client-facing background desired
