This senior level person will serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking hedge fund solutions and will be responsible for business development and investor relations effort in US/EMEA for a broad set of multi-manager/strategy, niche-oriented and customized hedge fund portfolios. In addition, the person should be knowledgeable about the hedge fund industry and be able to discuss solutions and strategies that are available to clients.

Specific Functions Include

  • Work closely with client advisors to develop a coverage model to ensure we identify opportunities with clients seeking hedge fund solutions.
  • Develop relationships with consultants to increase our penetration and rankings with key consultants
  • Develop and maintain investor relationships in US/EMEA with a strong emphasis on the institutional segment in US/EMEA
  • Participate in internal manager and strategy level meetings to be in a position to effectively communicate views, portfolio changes and manager color to clients
  • Participate in various investor relations functions

    • Qualifications

  • Senior level capital raising experience at a hedge fund, fund of hedge funds or asset management firm selling both traditional and alternative investments
  • Proven record of success in alternative investment sales institutional investor segment
  • Solid relationships established with institutional investors
  • Expert knowledge on how to sell into the various types of institutional investors
  • Ability to work and thrive within a large organization
  • Ability to work independently and leverage resources internally
  • High energy, self-starter
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Foreign Language skills preferable
